TT Titans win 2024 Summer Handicap League

TT Titans (William Stevenson, Gary Stevenson & Alfie Barker) are the champions of the 2024 Summer Handicap League.

Congratulations to TT Titans who won 12 of their 14 matches and finished a clear 3 points ahead of the runners up (Cats With Hats).

The final week was played a week later than originally planned, with all the matches postponed from week 7 being played on September 4th instead.

Thanks to all eight teams who played each week and to the reserve players who stepped in when needed.

Special thanks to Tony Jennison for expertly organising this popular summer event and also to Chris Tzitzikas for processing the results and standings so efficiently.

Here’s looking forward to doing it all again next summer.

About Ashford Table Tennis Club

We are very active club and have in excess of 300 members of all ages and abilities. Formed in 1981, the club was appointed as a Table Tennis England (formerly English Table Tennis Association) PremierClub in 2002.

Our teams play in three local leagues: the Staines and the Byfleet in Surrey and the South & West Middlesex. We also have teams in the Senior British League and Junior British League.

The club is fortunate to have purpose built facilities - arguably, among the best in the country - which are open to club members all day every day throughout the year (except December 25th)! We run a comprehensive coaching programme, catering for a wide spectrum of ages and standards. We are also working with the TTE and local schools to get more children playing table tennis.
