RIP Norman Slifkin

It is with the deepest regret and a heavy heart that we at ATTC have to advise of the passing of Norman Slifkin earlier today.
Norman was the Life President of the club in addition to having undertaken many other roles at Ashford over the years.

RIP Norman Slifkin
As an administrator, there was probably little that Norman didn’t do over the years for our sport.
Norman was a very good player in his day – playing at league and county levels. He won numerous Vetts tournaments at different age group events. I only found out quite recently, that he also represented the country at one of the age group events a number of years ago.
Many of you will have known Norman – always very friendly and helpful – with quite a mischievous sense of humour, a great friend to a lot of us.
Our deepest sympathies go to Lorna, Mike, Clive and the rest of the family.
RIP Norman
