About Us
We are very active club located in Woodthorpe Road, Ashford (Middlesex) – approximately 2.5 miles south of Heathrow Airport and 15 miles west of Central London.
We have around 250 members of all ages, abilities and playing styles. New members are always welcome throughout the year. So whether you just want to play socially or you are looking to play competitively, do contact us.
The club is fortunate to have purpose built facilities – arguably, among the best in the country – which are open to club members all day every day throughout the year!
Formed in 1981, the club was appointed as a English Table Tennis Association PremierClub (now called TTE) in 2002 and was awarded Clubmark accreditation in 2013.
Our teams play in three local leagues: the Staines, the Heathrow and the South & West Middlesex.
We also have teams in the British League and National Cadet & Junior Leagues.
We run a comprehensive coaching programme, catering for a wide spectrum of ages and standards. We are also working with TTE and local schools to get more children playing table tennis.
The club is one of five sports clubs that together form Ashford Sports Club. The clubs are located at two separate sites:
