2018 Spelthorne Sports Week 6-10th August

Spelthorne Borough Council holds its annual Sports Week again this year and will be using ATTC’s hall for table tennis coaching.

The idea behind Spelthorne Sports Week, is to provide affordable sports coaching during the summer holidays to young people wanting to try new sports.

Coaching is available in a number of sports during the week – Tennis, Squash, Table Tennis and Rowing. The sessions are for children and young people aged 8-16 years.

Anyone interested should contact Spelthorne Borough Council: Sports Week

Use of our hall for the above event will mean that all tables will be in use (i.e. no practice available) on the following days:

Thursday 9th August – 10:00AM to 3:30PM
Friday 10th August – 10:00AM to 3:30PM

About Ashford Table Tennis Club

We are very active club and have in excess of 300 members of all ages and abilities. Formed in 1981, the club was appointed as a Table Tennis England (formerly English Table Tennis Association) PremierClub in 2002.

Our teams play in three local leagues: the Staines and the Byfleet in Surrey and the South & West Middlesex. We also have teams in the Senior British League and Junior British League.

The club is fortunate to have purpose built facilities - arguably, among the best in the country - which are open to club members all day every day throughout the year (except December 25th)! We run a comprehensive coaching programme, catering for a wide spectrum of ages and standards. We are also working with the TTE and local schools to get more children playing table tennis.
