WR Sports Membership Cards & Visitor Sign-In from 1 Sep 2026
By ATTC Webmaster on Aug 17, 2026 with Comments 0
Dear Club Members,
We are writing to inform you of some important changes being introduced at the WR Sports Club Clubhouse from 1 September 2026. From this date, all customers wishing to receive members’ prices at the WR Sports bar will be required to present a valid WR Sports membership card when making a purchase.
If a member is unable to present their membership card, they will be asked to provide their full name, which will be checked against the Club’s membership records to confirm that they are a current member. If their membership cannot be verified, the standard non-member price will be charged.
Parents or guardians of a junior member will also be entitled to members’ prices when accompanying their child at the Club. They may access members’ prices by presenting their child’s valid WR Sports membership card.
Visitors to WR Sports Club
Social visitors may attend the Club on up to three occasions as a visitor. Following their third visit, if they wish to continue using the Club, they will be required to formally apply for WR Sports Social Membership or alternatively a Sporting Membership. Social visitors will not ordinarily be eligible for members’ prices and will be charged the standard non-member prices during their visits.
Functions & Competitions
The three-visit rule will not apply to guests attending private functions or to visiting sporting teams using WR Sports facilities as part of an organised competition, fixture or event at the invitation of one of our Member Clubs or a WR Sports Pool & Darts Team. These individuals will not be required to become WR Sports members solely because they have attended the Club in this capacity.
Where a visiting sporting team or group has been invited to WR Sports Club by a Member Club or a WR Sports Pool & Darts Team to participate in an organised competition or fixture, those participants will also be entitled to members’ bar prices for the duration of that competition or fixture.
We would be grateful if all Member Clubs could make their members aware of these changes ahead of 1 September, particularly the requirement to bring their membership card and the new arrangements for visitors.
These measures are being introduced by the WR Sports Bar Staff to ensure that membership benefits are provided consistently to those entitled to receive them, while continuing to welcome visiting teams, competitors and guests to WR Sports Club.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us communicate these changes to our members.
Kind regards,
Ryan Gibbard
