Ashford Sports Club Field – Survey

Dear Members,
As many of you know, Ashford Sports Club has been in discussions regarding the sale of the land adjacent to the tennis courts for residential development.
A public consultation meeting recently took place (see previous post).
Attendance and engagement were good, with a range of views expressed.
As expected, there were some concerns raised and these were put forward thoughtfully and constructively.
Professional advisers present — including housing design and highways specialists — listened carefully, responded to questions, and noted the points raised.
Overall, the session was well-run and provided a useful opportunity to hear community feedback, which will now be considered as the proposals continue to be reviewed.

Submission to Spelthorne Borough Council
Work is now ongoing to finalise the application for submission to Spelthorne Borough Council, which we would encourage members to support once submitted.
