National Junior League Results – Day 4 – 7th Mar 2020

Last season 176 teams played in 15 centres all over the country on 4 days.
Ashford has 3 teams playing in NJL 2019-20 (same as 2018-19) across 3 divisions.
Our matches are played at Cippenham TTC in Slough on:
- October 19th 2019
- November 23rd 2019
- January 11th 2020
- March 7th 2020
Ashford A – Division 1
Team: Ayush Buche, Rohan Raj, Harry Searle, Sam Piesley
Our “A” team, playing in Division 1, had a day of very close matches in a tight division.
There were wins against Chiltern A and Kingfisher A (both 4-2) and a draw with Hillingdon A (3-3).
We sufferred defeats to Reading A (2-3) and Cippenham (2-4).
These results meant the A team finished 2nd overall across the 4 days behind Cippenham A the tournament winners.
Ashford B – Division 2
Team: Harshil Shah, Ashrith Behara, Parin Shah, George Stanev
Our “B” team, playing in Division 2, played well all day to finish top of the division.
Wins against Ashford C (6-0), Warren Spring A (4-2), Warren Spring B (5-1), Cippenham B (5-1) and a draw against Guildford (3-3) completed a very successful day.
Ashford C – Division 2
Team: Neil Prabhu, Saharsh Didigam, Maninder Singh, Daniel Winders
Our “C” team, recently promoted from Division 3 had a tough day in Division 2.
Against the five opponents they won a total 3 matches.
The scores were Ashford B (0-6), Cippenham B (1-5), Guildford (1-5), Warren Spring A (0-6), Warren Spring B (1-5).
The team did really well to get into Division 2 and are well placed to build on this next year.
