ATTC Cadets Compete in Final Day of 2024/25 CBCL

On Sunday 30th March 2025, Cippenham TTC played host to the fourth and final day of the 2024/25 Cadet British Clubs League (CBCL).

Following a 2024 revamp of the competition structure, TTE renamed this competition (it was formerly called the NCL) and brought in online team registration.

Beyond this there was no change to the way the NCL operated previously apart from one change in rules:

  • Players playing-up to a higher team for the equivalent of 1 day’s team matches, on an accumulative basis, will become registered for the higher team
  • Players cannot play down to a lower team
  • No player can play against the same opposition team twice on the same day

Ashford C and Ashford B resumed their rivalry from Day 3. Ashford B this time managed to beat Ashford C 5-4, but it was Ashford C who had the last laugh as they fared better in their other two matches, finishing as runners up in Div 3. Ashford B’s win was the only highlight of their day as they finished in 4th spot.

  • Ashford B – Ethan King, Ranveer Thakur, Aadityaa Sivaprakash

Ashford D, again finished as runners-up in Division 6, but this time very comfortably. They thrashed the two EBATT sides (D & G), but were themselves obliterated (0-9) by the division winners, Crusaders D.
