Junior Friendly Match versus Twickenham Brunswick

On Friday June 1st 26 cadets from Ashford and Twickenham played out 93 matches in two groups – intermediates and novice – at Twickenham Brunswick club.
Honours in the more experienced group went to Twickenham – who took the top 5 positions.
Edward Soane was the highest placed Ashford player (in 6th position with 6 wins out of 7), Matthew Hayman and Gareth Hart were close behind (equal 7th with 3 and 4 wins out of 7), Alec Fowler (10th 2 of 7) , James Roper (12th 4 of 7), Travis Mash (17th 3 of 7 ) and Nathan Craig (19th 1 of 7).
Four Ashford players were making their first appearance for the club, gaining very useful experience ahead of next seasons National Cadet League.
Eoin Hanlon won the novice competition (with 6 wins out of 7), Tamim Kaiaji came 3rd (4 wins of 7), Boris Spasodevie 4th (2 of 7) and Nabeel Nanuck 5th (3 of 7).
Congratulations to all the players and thanks to Twickenham for hosting the match.
