New ATTC Club Shirt

Juniors – Ashford vs Cippenham Jan 7th, 2018

A pre-season junior match against Cippenham TTC took place at ATTC on Sunday 7th January 2018.

Competition Format

The competition was made up of 8 teams of 3, each team with 2 Ashford players and 1 from Cippenham.

The teams were split into 2 pools of 4 teams – i.e. A vs B and C vs D and each was 9 matches.

The winners of each match played for 1st and 2nd place, with the losers competing for 3rd and 4th place.


The Ashford team were: Charlie Cunningham, Rohan Raj, Sam Piesley, Rahul Shah, Amol Apte, Harry Searle, Aarya Karthik, Parin Shah, Ayush Buche, Artur Bose, Dominic Lavender, Ellie Frost, Marvin Tchangwa, Saharsh Didigam, Ryan Gibbard, Oliver Mackay, Omar Nasiri, Sanuda Gunawardana

The Cippenham team were: Pranav Gudipati, William Saint, Douglas Charidge-Hansen, Ander Smith, Anna Piercey, Jaiden Caldeira, James Russell

Results – Pool 1

In Pool 1, Amol, Charlie and James Russell (C) beat Ayush, Marvin and Douglas Claridge-Hanson (C) 5-4. Artur, Ellie and Pranav Gudipati (C) beat Dominic, Rahul and Jaiden Caldeira (C), also 5-4.

In the final, Charlie, Amol and James (C) beat Artur, Ellie and Pranav (C) 5-4.

Results – Pool 2

In Pool 2, Rohan, Aarya and Ander Smith (C) beat Oliver, Harry, Omar Nasiri and Sanuda Gunawardana 7-2, and Parin, Saharsh and Will Saint(C) beat Sam, Ryan and Anna Piercey (C) 5-4.

In the final, Ander (C), Rohan and Aarya beat Will (C), Parin and Saharsh 5-4.
